Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 9 amβ5:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (626) 797-7748. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 1,124 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded specialty food stores in Pasadena.
Pasadena is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pasadena follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Cute little italian market. So lucky to have one local. Some of the best products from italy, from jarred italian red pepper, Calibrian chillies, antipasti, condiments, to pickled items, to cookies, imported italian flour and grains, best quality pasta made in Italy of course (slowly dried, and light pale color), to cheeses and drinks.

This is the greatest deli in SoCal. Always grab their sandwiches before hitting Santa Anita Track or Barnsdall! Go to their deli and grab some pepperonciniβs with the perfect kick or some tangy olives. Full beer and wine selection. Fresh baked bread and plenty cold cutsβ¦. ps bite the pepper and squeeze the juice and seeds onto the next bite of your sandwich.

Overall a very authentic Italian grocery store offering lots of imported goods. The meats and cheeses are very good and they also have a bunch of snacks and wines. They are most known for βthe sandwichβ, a very basic 3 meats with cheese sandwich that is cheap at only $7. However it was pretty underwhelming, the bread was very stale and hurt my mouth, very hard to chew. The meats and cheese were very tasty. The sandwiches are constantly made in the back and brought out in big cartons and they go very fast since it is so popular.

This is a small specialty market selling Italian food. The place is well known for its delicious inexpensive Italian sandwiches that are prepared every morning. A lot of people buy these sandwiches so they usually run out by lunch time. The market has a great selection of Imported cookies, bread, pasta, oils canned goods and bottled items. Iβve never tried their frozen pasta and store made sauces but I can vouch for their delicious prosciutto that is sliced on the spot. This is the place to go for charcuterie in Pasadena.
